PR Travel, the Honeymoon Registry Service, provides
the
following statement of disclosure and understanding
for couples registering with PR Travel. Please read through the statement
carefully to make sure you understand the service terms. If after review,
you have any questions, please don't hesitate to
contact us.
PLEASE NOTE:
All couples must agree to the statement prior to activation of
their online honeymoon registry.
Statement of Disclosure and Understanding
You
and your partner (also referred to as "couple(s)") have agreed to engage
PR Travel, The Honeymoon Registry Service, ("PR Travel") for your
honeymoon gift registry.
Choosing to use PR Travel for your honeymoon registry service, you
understand the following:
- A
non-refundable registry set-up fee of either $100 will be applied to
your registry and must be paid before the registry is activated.
- PR
Travel's
registry pricing includes a 14% service fee for registry services. This
fee is covered in the cost of each registry item and is not charged to
wedding couples directly. Couples are aware that items in their
honeymoon itinerary will appear on their gift registry 14% higher than
actual cost (e.g., if hotel costs $100 with tax, it will appear as $114
on the registry). Couples are not responsible for paying the 14% fee on
items that are not purchased.

Due to the intensive nature of research and travel quotes, we recommend
that you have a good idea of your honeymoon budget and desired
destination in mind to help keep your costs to a minimum.
- PR
Travel does provide two itinerary or destination quotes free of charge;
after that, a traveling consulting fee of $25 per hour may apply.
- PR
Travel uses
destination templates to create your honeymoon registry. The templates
contain a comprehensive list of activities for each destination. A
certain amount of customization can be done to your registry if the
templates do not include an activity that might interest you. If you
have an extensive list of additions/customization, PR Travel may charge
a registry customization fee of $25 per hour.
- PR
Travel, The
Honeymoon Registry Service, is a registry service. Engaging PR Travel to
assist you in your travel planning in conjunction with other agencies or
wholesalers), you understand that PR Travel, is in no way liable
for any arrangements made by the wholesaler, tour operator, or cruise
lines. We are only responsible for the services we provide.

Similarly, you understand that PR Travel, The Honeymoon Registry
Service, is not liable for problems with resorts, hotels and tickets not
directly the fault of PR Travel. You are aware that although PR Travel
Travel may assist you in securing incidental items or bookings, PR
Travel, The Honeymoon Registry Service, is in no way liable for
the outcome of the arrangements made or any associated problems not
directly the fault of PR Travel.
- If
available, deposits required by airlines, wholesalers, travel agency,
hotels, resorts, cruise lines etc. will be paid from your PR Travel
registry account as necessary. However, if funds are not available in
account at the time deposit is required, the deposit must be paid by
you. A credit card will be requested for this purpose. You will be
reimbursed from your registry account when (if) funds become available.
- If
available, final balances due required by airlines, wholesalers,
hotels, resorts, cruise lines etc. will be paid from your PR Travel
registry account as necessary. However, if funds are not available in
account at time the final balance is due, the final balance must be paid
by you. A credit card will be requested for this purpose. You will be
reimbursed from your registry account when (if) funds become available.
(Please note: many wholesalers, cruise lines and resort properties such
as Sandals or Club Med require final balances to be paid from 45 to 60
days prior to departure.)
- If
the gift amounts received do not cover the entire cost of the trip, you
and your partner will be responsible for making up the difference prior
to trip departure (within the travel agency's timeline requirements).
This applies only to the core pieces of your honeymoon package and not
to extra/incidental activities. Activities that are not part of your
core package are activities that you may or may not choose to do or pay
for while on your honeymoon.
- PR
Travel does not
automatically book and prepay for extra/incidental activities such as
sightseeing tours, dinner cruises, massages (other than Sandals or
Beaches) and the like. Rather, PR Travel collects the gift payments and
provides a lump-sum payment to the couple prior to their honeymoon.
Couples have the flexibility to use these funds to finance the
activities they choose to do while on their honeymoon. For
extra/incidental activities that couples choose to have booked in
advance by PR Travel, the couple understands that they need to request
PR Travel to book these items and may have to provide funds in advance
to meet any prepayment obligations.
- If
the honeymoon is canceled by your request, any dollars in your registry
account will be refunded proportionately (minus any deposits kept by
airlines, hotels, etc) to contributors. You will be responsible for
paying PR Travel the 14% fee on the gifts purchased so that
contributors can be refunded the full amount of their gifts. No gifts
will be refunded to contributors until PR Travel is reimbursed the
14% fee.
